Missouri Statute 4 CSR 197-3.010:
Confidentiality of Clients ”Each massage therapist will safeguard verbal and written confidential information of the client, unless disclosure is required by law, court order, or authorized by the client.
We will not share information about your health, personal information, appointments, or services with anyone unless you have given consent in writing.
If you have designated someone to be your emergency contact, we may provide them with relevant information in the event of an emergency, such as your location at the clinic.
Any private or health information you have shared in writing, email, verbally, or by any other means will not be shared with anyone but your therapist unless the therapist is provided with a court order.
If you are going to be late, a courtesy message is greatly appreciated. We understand things come up and this may not be possible. We are happy to keep your appointment and get you in, but we cannot guarantee you will receive your full time. For example, if you are scheduled from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and you arrive at 6:30pm, your appointment will still end at its scheduled time of 7:00pm. If an emergency has come up, please contact us as soon as possible and we will make every effort to work with you.
If you have tested positive in the last 10 days you must reschedule. If you have not tested positive but have been directly exposed to COVID-19, we ask that you do not come in within 5 days of exposure.

Once you have completed your quarantine period and tested negative, you are welcome to reach out to your therapist to reschedule. Massage therapy can increase circulation and assist in breaking up mucous in the respiratory system, and can be a great addition to your recovery!
Per Missouri statute 4 CSR 197-3.010 Standards of Practice:
Massage therapists are required to ”Provide privacy while the client is draping and undraping” and “Provide appropriate draping which includes draping at the gluteal cleft in males and females and the breasts on females”
‘Massage therapists are not to massage the genitals; are not to massage the breasts of any female without a physicians order’
We reserve the right to refuse to massage any body part in compliance with this statute.
In compliance with this statute, you have the right to decline any body part to be massaged, the right to decline to undress, and the right to stop the session at any time. Please let your therapist know if there is any way we can accommodate you to feel more comfortable, as your comfort is our first priority.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not abide by this statute or behaves in a way deemed inappropriate, disrespectful, dangerous, or sexual in nature. Massage therapy is a form of integrative healthcare and we will not tolerate sexualization of this industry or any behavior that makes the therapist or clients feel unsafe. Such behavior will lead to immediate termination of the session and the session will not be refunded. You may not reschedule or book again if you have been asked to leave due to sexual and/or dangerous behavior.

If we believe you are showing signs and/or symptoms of a serious medical condition requiring a practitioner with different licensure, we may refer you. We are not responsible for conditions and diseases that go undiagnosed that you have not already disclosed to us.
We reserve the right to refuse any client in such a condition that massage therapy may cause bodily harm.
